Programmer / Planner - Facade, Roofing, Construction

The Company

* My client are a Specialist Subcontractor, with a reputable name in the industry.

* Works include Cladding & Roofing.

* My client work on a variety of prestigious buildings and bespoke projects, both in the UK and overseas, predominately commercial and residential.

* HQ based in Essex / Herts border.

The Role - Construction Programmer

Duties:

* Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work (both in pre-contract and post contract stages)

* Producing progress reports and revising programmes and forecasts for team members using planning//programme software (Microsoft Project or Asta)

* Breaking large projects down into phases of development

* Using project management tools to plan timeframes

* Working with Estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project

* Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change

* Meeting with contractors and suppliers and discuss and review programme issues and discussions

You will have a strong knowledge of the construction industry (mainly with roofing and façade works)
