Are you a Sheet Metal Worker / Supervisor, looking for a rare opportunity to step into an Assistant Production Manager position, where you'll receive intensive, 1 on 1 training in man management and lean manufacturing, allowing you to reach your full potential and rapidly progress your career?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established security doors manufacturer, with a great reputation for their high standards of quality, precision and speed of service. Established nearly 50 years ago, the company is growing consistently, building on long term contracts for high-quality clientele.

You will be responsible for helping to oversee the workshop and production process, from creating workshop schedules to supporting engineers with quality and health and safety. Full training on Jetcam / CNC punch can be provided if needed.

The role:

Intensive management training, allowing you to step into a Assistant Production Manager role
Organise production schedules, monitoring and improving productivity
Supervising staff and providing effective, visible leadership on the shop floor
Maintaining long-term relationships with clients
Ensuring a high standard of health and safety and equipment maintenanceThe person:
