Ideal Recruit is currently seeking a Mechanic / Garage Assistant to join our esteemed client's team in Walkden.

In this role, you will:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.
Diagnose and resolve various types of faults.
Assist disabled vehicles at roadside or customer premises.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to procure parts and maintain stock levels.
Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the garage.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training opportunities.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours ranging from 10 am to 7 pm.
