Role: Project Administrator

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire – office based role

Hours: Monday –Thursday 8:30am – 5pm & Friday 8:30am – 4pm

Salary: £27,500 per annum + performance bonus

Benefits: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays – rising to 25 days after 1 year of service, company enrolled pension scheme, regular performance appraisals and continual formal training and development.

Exciting opportunity to join this business in their Project/ Engineering team as a Project Administrator. Ideally you will have a technical background and customer-facing experience. This role involves coordinating with clients regarding project proposals, managing project-related documentation, and ensuring seamless operations across sales and installations teams.

Duties will include:

* Manage client communications and expectations projects

* Develop cost estimates and collaborate on client proposals

* Contact suppliers to get prices for components

* Quantify materials for each project

* Build cost estimates on the internal system

* Verify and ensure timely completion of quotes and proposals

* Maintain accurate project data and process sales orders

* Organise site visits and manage project documentation

* Liaise with suppliers, engineers and site teams

* Track project progress and keep clients updated

Skills and Experience Required:

* Experience in data entry or a customer-facing role is beneficial

* Familiarity with Adobe Pro and MS Office

* Capability to plan, prioritise, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders

* Background in process pipework or high purity systems is a plus but not essential

* Interest or qualifications in Manufacturing or Engineering
