Lettings Lister
Location: Forest Hill
Working Hours: 5 days a week. Monday – Friday, 9am to 6:30pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm. A weekday will be
given as a day off.
Salary: £20,000 basic, OTE – £40,000-£45,000
Servicing Forest Hill, Brockley, Peckham, Dulwich, New Cross, and surrounding areas, you will be working with a small, close-knit team in our Forest Hill office. As a Lettings Lister, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, valuing, and marketing residential rental properties. Your primary responsibility will be building strong relationships with landlords, ensuring properties are accurately listed, and attracting suitable tenants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, market knowledge, and a passion for the lettings industry.
Essential Qualities:
* Proven estate agency experience, particularly in lettings.
* Previous experience in generating new business and valuing in a target-driven environment.
* Strong IT skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Fast learner and adaptable.
* Good team player.
* Own car with a clean full UK driving license.
Responsibilities:
Property Valuation and Listing:
* Identify and assess rental properties suitable for the market.
* Create high-quality property listings with accurate descriptions, photographs, and details.
* Provide landlords with pricing strategies to maximise rental value.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords.
* Understand landlords' and tenants' needs to facilitate successful lettings.
* Deliver excellent customer service throughout the lettings process.
Marketing and Promotion:
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote listed properties.
* Use various marketing channels, including online platforms and social media, to reach potential tenants.
Tenant Matching and Negotiation:
* Match properties with suitable tenants based on their requirements.
* Represent landlords in negotiations with prospective tenants.
Process Management:
* Facilitate the offer and acceptance process.
* Prepare and process all necessary documentation for tenancy agreements.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of property listings and client interactions
