Our client is a privately-owned, family business specialising in risk management and fraud investigation. They have a requirement for a Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, with a remit to drive client wins and account development.
Territories are broken down as per below, requiring on Business Manager per territory.
* The North – Scotland, down to the areas immediately North of the East Midlands, and all areas between.
* The Midlands and East - to include East & West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Hereford & Worcester, Northamptonshire, Norfolk.
* The South East - to include Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Greater London, Essex, Kent, Oxfordshire.
Duties
* New business and account management visits to client locations, focussing on the financial, insolvency and legal sectors.
* Building client relationships.
* Promoting and consulting on the business services.
* Recording and documenting client projects in line with company processes.
* Resolving any client issues.
* Accurate record keeping via spreadsheets, sage and CRM systems.
* Working to sales targets as directed by management.
* Workload prioritisation.
* Attending functions, networking events and shows.
* Limited required overnight hotel stays to facilitate functions/meetings.
* Adherence to ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and GDPR across all management systems, legislation, policies and procedures.
* Continuous improvement with regard to current working systems.
* Expense budget & objectives
What we’ll need from you
* Bachelor's Degree (Law or Accountancy)
* Driving Licence.
* Previous sales experience is not essential.
* Willingness to undergo security screening prior to employment/ during probationary period.
