Administrator
Temporary to potential permanent (based on performance)
£14 per hour + Holiday Pay
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
Office based in Bexleyheath
Our client based in Bexleyheath is looking for a strong administrator to join their team to support the head of HSQE.
Key Duties -
* Assist in the development and implementation of workplace HSQE documentation, including policies and procedures.
* Perform regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Coordinate ongoing safety training sessions for colleagues.
* Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities to ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations.
* Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and to find ways to prevent them in the future.
* Be party to safety meetings and committees, encouraging colleague participation and feedback on HSQE matters.
* Distribute safety equipment, tooling, and personal protective gear to appropriate colleagues, ensuring proper fit, face-fit, and usage.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions in the workplace to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
* Other duties from time to time as related to the requirements of the role.
Key Skills Needed –
* Have a strong understanding of technology and software.
* Effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong Microsoft skills including excel.
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to consult and negotiate effectively with both internal and external customers.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
