About the Role:

Teach Now is hiring a Year 1 Class Teacher for a part-time maternity cover position at a well-resourced primary school in Hertfordshire. This role, running from April to July 2025, is perfect for a passionate educator looking to make an impact in a supportive environment. With smaller-than-average class sizes, you’ll have the chance to provide engaging and effective teaching to Year 1 pupils.

The Ideal Year 1 Class Teacher Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1

• Deliver creative and engaging lessons

• Possess strong classroom management skills

• Be an excellent team player with great communication skills
