About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential development with a construction value of over £1 billion.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the commercial team in managing costs throughout the lifecycle of the project, from early stages to completion.
Assist with the procurement process for packages, working closely with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts to ensure project profitability.
Carry out detailed cost analysis, assessing materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve competitive pricing, ensuring value for money while maintaining strong relationships.
Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to avoid cost overruns.
Assist senior surveyors and managers in the preparation of reports, valuations, and change orders.
Contribute to the management and mentoring of junior team members, helping to develop their skills and knowledge.What You Need:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, within the residential or construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations, with particular emphasis on large-scale developments.
Experience using relevant software tools (Excel, project management systems, etc.).
Good attention to detail with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication and negotiation skills.Why Join?
