Unite People are seeking a knowledgeable and qualified Fire Safety Engineer for a large commercial passive fire protection project in the Southampton area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building the fire strategy drawings for a large commercial building, breaking the building plans down into 30-60-90 minute fire rated walls to enable the passive fire contractor to undertake their works.

* £450 per day outside IR35

* 2-3 months’ worth of remote work

* Potential further self-employed Fire Engineering works with same client to follow

Requirements:

* Proven track record for the technical delivery of fire engineering projects.

* Preferably hold a degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent

* Detailed understanding/ knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g. ADB, BS9999, RRFSO, PAS 79, PD 7974, etc.)
