Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Enfield? Or do you have experience working with children and want to branch out into the world of special educational needs?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Enfield. You will be working within the schools SEN unit which caters for a small number of students with complex needs. This is a full time, long-term role starting in January for the rest of the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:

Supporting the teacher in delivering the curriculum
Assisting with the preparation of lesson plans and resources
Supporting individual pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional literacy
Helping to manage overall behaviour in the classroom and wider school
Supporting the teacher in the assessment and reporting of pupil progress
Contributing to the wider life of the schoolTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need :

TA or some form of child care experience
Knowledge of SEND
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
