Do you enjoy providing a professional, high quality advice and support service across the full range of HR? BDS are currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor (schools) to work with our client based in Hereford.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to hit the ground running with Employee Relations experience.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor

* Support clients with employee relation casework, by email/telephone/teams and onsite.

* Act as an investigating officer on variety of employment matters and provide written reports as required.

* Attend formal meetings as and when required.

* Be involved in the development of school based HR policies and procedures working closely with Trade Union representatives;

* Design/deliver training sessions to clients on a variety of HR topics

We are needing the ideal candidate to have a CIPD qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. You should have a strong knowledge of employment law, excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

You will be required to travel throughout Herefordshire to attend on site school meetings on a regular basis and sometimes at short notice.

As travel is essential, you will be required to provide your own transport for business use. (Mileage is paid).

All applications for both Full Time and Part Time will be considered;

* full time working (37hrs per week)

* part time working (28-37 hrs per week)

* full time or part time working for 42 weeks (term time + 4 weeks)

Flexible working patterns are possible and will be discussed at interview if required.

Payrate is in circa of £38500 p/a (pro rata)
