Management Accountant

Henderson Brown is supporting our well-respected client with their growth by seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their dynamic team.
As a Management Accountant, you will provide essential financial support and analysis to the UK Business Unit, working closely with the UK Financial Controller in preparing management accounts, ensuring internal controls, and delivering timely reports. You will also be responsible for designing, updating, and explaining financial dashboards to the UK sales and commercial team, analysing variances, and supporting financial forecasts.

Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Provide financial support and analysis to the UK Business Unit in collaboration with Finance Analysts.
* Partner with the Finance, sales, and commercial teams to implement commercial and business development strategies.
* Prepare the UK weekly accounts and management accounts.
* Design, update, and maintain financial performance dashboards to support business needs.
* Assist in building detailed and accurate budgets & forecasts, analysing variances.
* Drive bi-monthly category and customer reviews, providing the procurement and sales teams with a long-term view of financial performance.
* Ensure strict control and reconciliation of overheads.
* Support continuous improvement projects.
* Act as the primary interface between the business and UK finance.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls and commercial policies.
* Comply with health and safety regulations, prioritising colleague well-being and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Skills:
* Qualified accountant.
* Ability to interact with senior management and other functional areas.
* Proven leadership capabilities.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in BI & Data Viz tools (Tableau, Power BI, Domo, SAP analytics).
* Experience in Financial Controlling/Business Analysis within an FMCG environment.
