Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a BMS Controls Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a BMS Controls Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the BMS Controls Engineer​​​​​, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The BMS Controls Engineer​​​​​​​, will be responsible for:

* Providing an exceptional level of commitment and professionalism in delivering value enhancing BMS PPM activities.

* Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on BMS components.

* Identifying and delivering opportunities for improvements and essential remedial works that will increase the performance of the BMS.

* Having the opportunity to design and configure controller strategies and schematics for Trend.

* Completing “Deep Dive” energy optimisation works alongside the Energy Managers.

* Enhancing the opportunities for energy savings and carbon reduction.

* Carrying out surveys, proposals and quoting of small / remedial works as required.

* Supporting our on site Operations and Project teams with ad hoc reactive tasks and breakdowns

* Seeking opportunities to gain greater experience through ongoing projects.

* Ensuring all Health and Safety standards are maintained across all sites.

* Anticipating and understanding customer expectations.

* Ensuring customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed.

To be successful for this BMS Controls Engineer​​​​​​​ role you must have:

* Knowledge and experience equal to the Trend Expert competency level.

* Ability to confidently modify software and schematics for 963 & IQVision.

* Proven experience as a BMS engineer is essential.

* In Depth knowledge of building management systems and HVAC systems.

* Relevant qualifications in engineering or related field.

* Qualified to City and Guild level or equivalent.

* Two years experience in a similar role.

* Confident in the use of SET and or an alternative Software Engineering Tool.

* Knowledge of BMS solutions with the ability to design / modify software and schematics.

* Experienced in integrating solutions / systems.

* Knowledge of IT networks and IP Configuration

* Understanding of Metering and Open Protocol solutions.

* Understanding and experience with working on and programming inverter drives, single phase and 3 phase electrical systems.

* Understanding and experience with working on PLC's including fault finding.

* Knowledge with fault finding in Motor Control Panels.
