I am looking for experienced Care Home Manager to lead a beautiful care home for a beautifully converted 34 bedded Victorian country house in the pretty village of Yaxley near Eye in Suffolk, and easily accessible from Norfolk. It is a quiet setting and the perfect place for high-quality residential, dementia care.
In this Care Home Managers role you will:
* Manage the home, ensuring that all care provided is of a high standard
* Act as a role model to staff, providing mentorship and support where needed
* Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
* Maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors
* Create strong links with the local community
* Be ambitious with a desire to develop and progress the Home from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’
For this fabulous managers role you must have:
* Experience in a similar role in residential or nursing care
* The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person-centred care.
* A good working knowledge of CQC standards
* A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
* Proven competent management and leadership skills in order to make the Home the best place to work for local people
