Time 8:30am – 3:30pm

Temporary – Fulltime with the potential in becoming permanent

Overview:

Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school based in Watford on a long-term contract possibly then leading into a permanent position. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching DT - Resistant Materials.

About the role:

Supply Desk is collaborating with a vibrant secondary school based in Watford and are in search of an passionate DT Teacher. The ideal candidate must be passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators and creators? We are seeking a dynamic Design Technology (DT) Teacher who can ignite curiosity and creativity in our students. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead hands-on projects that blend design, engineering, and technology, encouraging students to think critically and solve real-world problems.

The ideal candidate must:

Have the right to work within the UK
Have experience working within a classroom
DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
Good subject knowledge of DT curriculum
Have strong classroom management skills.
A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
