Sales Executive
Location: Remote (must be UK-based)
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Up to £45,000 + uncapped commission
Job Description
Our client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join their team. This role involves managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, across a range of platforms, including events, training, L&D, awards sponsorships, magazine advertising, digital media, and podcasts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:
* Identify and research potential clients across various industries to build a strong pipeline.
* Sell sponsorship packages, magazine placements, digital advertising, and podcast slots.
* Present tailored solutions to meet client needs and negotiate deals to exceed sales targets.
* Build and nurture long-term relationships to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
* Develop and execute sales strategies leveraging all available platforms.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management.
Key Skills of a Sales Executive
* Proven experience in a full-cycle sales role, preferably within media, events, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of cross-platform sales, including sponsorship and digital media.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
* A proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a competitive environment.
* Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach to uncovering new business opportunities.
