Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Tyne and Wear, North East
Salary: £(Apply online only) per day, depending on experience
Sector: Modular/Panelised (MMC)
Are you a site manager with experience with the supply and installation of offsite construction systems?
Are you seeking a 4-5 month contract role with a growing business? Starting on Monday 14th April 2025.You will be managing and overseeing the project. As part of the core site team, you can expect to work closely with subcontract labour to ensure that the project is delivered safely on time and budget.
We are seeking candidates with direct experience working within the Civils/MMC sector as a Site Manager. You will be joining a firm with a healthy pipeline of projects across the country.
Responsibilities:
Working on an Education project in the North East
Ensure all site staff are adhering to health and safety procedures
Be actively involved in pre-start, progress and handover meetings
Demolition of existing modular building
Complete enabling and groundworks for new building
Fit out to complete
We would welcome conversations with candidates who:
Hold CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid tickets
As a live school you will need an enhanced DBS
Have a strong working knowledge of full turnkey projects
Have strong planning skills and the ability to 'look ahead' on-site programmes and anticipate challenges
Can bring good experience in managing sub-contractors and site-based labour
