Showroom Manager
Hunts Recruitment is looking for an experienced Showroom Manager!

Hedge End- Southampton
*
£36,000 plus the uncapped bonus/commission scheme
*
Mon- Fri 8am to 5pm (one-hour lunch) and 8am to 12pm on a Saturday
*
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and discretionary leave between Christmas and New Year
Must haves: Bathroom/ kitchen showroom sales and design experience
Job Purpose:
To effectively and efficiently manage the showroom’s profitability through sales and margin, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
To act in the best interest of the company, by engaging and maintaining strong relationships with customers, staff and suppliers.
Main Responsibilities:

Managing Sales
*
Achieving sales and gross profit targets
*
Maintaining customer service and develop existing and new customer base
*
Awareness of competitors
*
Maintaining the commercial layout within the showroom and managing refurbishments
*
General/digital marketing of the showroom
Managing Operations:
*
Key Holder and on the Alarm call out list
*
Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to and maintained at all times
*
Managing the returns of faulty and surplus stock back to relevant suppliers
*
Booking out customer orders and posting to invoice
Managing Costs:
*
Managing budgets & overheads
*
Managing stock loss
Planning and Organisation:
*
Ensure time management is maintained
*
Assist and initiate events and promotions such as Uni Dosh, showroom events etc.
*
Assist in stock take preparation and the participation of the actual count
*
Showroom marketing including: managing, advertisement and promotions budget
Managing People:
*
To coach, motivate and develop showroom staff
*
Effectively communicate and ensure all staff adhere to all company policies and procedures
*
Identify training and development needs of staff
*
Identify and address performance issues
*
Ensure all reviews and appraisals are conducted
