* Job title: Driver Operative (Street cleansing)

* Location: Newport, NP19

* Contract type: Temporary ongoing

* Rate: £12.59 p/h PAYE

* Hours/Days: 37 hours per week, Monday – Sunday

* Shift based rota 5 days per week, start & end times between 6am-6pm – includes weekends and public holidays

We are looking for a Driver Operative to start an ongoing role asap in the Newport, NP19 area.

This role is for the street cleaning team and will consist of several duties that will involve working outside. Therefore, the successful candidate must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weathers.

Duties:

* Manual and mechanical street cleansing operations

* Street washing

* Removal of graffiti and fly-posting

* Weed spraying operations

* Weed removal operations

* Emptying of bins and waste removal

* Leaf collection

Requirements:

* Full Driving licence

* Experience within a similar role

* Must be able to work as early as 6 am and finish as late as 6pm

* Must be physically fit and able to work outside in all weather conditions
