Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased)

Location: Rochester
Hours: 4 on 4 off rotating day shifts (no over night)
Salary: up to £50,000

Join our dynamic Engineering team and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our facility. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery through planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain machinery to optimal standards, reducing downtime and ensuring efficiency.
Quickly identify and resolve faults, communicating effectively with the team.
Implement a systematic planned maintenance programme.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule service or repair work.
Manage critical spare parts stock and order replacements as needed.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring safe work practices.
Continuously develop your technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Electrical qualifications such as an apprenticeship (City & Guilds), HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent.
Strong electrical foundation complemented by mechanical skills.
Experience with PLC fault-finding and diagnostics.
Proficient in using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills (minimum B2 level in English).
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.What We Offer:
