I am currently representing Westminster Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for an Anatomical Pathology Technologist this role will be: SW1E6QP

The right candidate will:

To take responsibility for delivering a full range of mortuary activities and assisting pathologists with coronial post-mortem examinations, including high-risk cases when required.

To assist in the administrative arrangements for the reception of bodies into the mortuary, the release for burial or cremation and associated activities.

To facilitate and organise formal viewings on behalf of HM Coroner, in accordance with local standard operating procedures. Ensuring that relatives are supported and treated with consideration at all times.

To assist in the implementation and maintaining of effective controls and procedures to ensure that:

* Service delivery is covered at all times

* Participate in the out of hours service and on call system

* To ensure that a robust system of record keeping is implemented, maintained and relevant databases are reviewed regularly as to their sufficiency and accuracy.

We require the following:

* Mortuary case work experience.

* Use of a variety of information systems and technology.

* RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology
