Role Highlights:
As a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, you’ll:

Conduct uni-professional and multi-professional assessments, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address a range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, osteoporosis, learning disabilities, and mental health diagnoses.
*
Collaborate closely with Brent Adult Social Care and Reablement teams to deliver high-quality, integrated care and promote independence and quality of life for each patient.
*
Receive comprehensive induction and ongoing support to help you excel in your role, with access to training, professional development, and opportunities to advance within CLCH.
Who We’re Looking For:
*
Qualified physiotherapists with clinical experience in community rehab, ideally with a background in neurological, musculoskeletal, or reablement-focused care.
*
Passionate individuals committed to patient-centred care and collaborative work within an integrated health and social care team.
Education/Qualification
Essential criteria
*
Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
*
Current HCPC registration
*
Evidence of up-to-date CPD portfolio
*
Attendance at specialist short courses or equivalent CPD activities within the specialist areas of Adult Rehabilitation, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Older People Rehabilitation
*
Member of a Special Interest Group relevant to this post (Desirable)
Experience
Essential criteria
*
Experience post registration as a Band 5 physiotherapist
*
Experience working at a junior level in a wide range of specialised clinical areas including outpatients, neurology, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and respiratory.
*
Experience working with voluntary organisations. (Desirable)
*
Experience in service development projects (Desirable)
Skills and Knowledge
*
Skills in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex multi-pathologies and neurological conditions
*
Knowledge and understanding of complex medical conditions including neurological conditions, multipathologies and falls.
*
Knowledge of role of Allied Health Professionals and interdisciplinary team working
*
Ability to apply core Physiotherapy skills across a range of clinical conditions within a client centred, goal setting
*
Knowledge of outcome measures and evidence-based practice
*
Ability to problem solve, prioritise and demonstrate clinical reasoning
*
Good communication and report writing skills, in both verbal and written format
*
Basic IT skills – Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel
*
Teaching of junior staff / students, peers in Inservice training setting
*
Knowledge and understanding of the role of Social Services and voluntary agencies
*
Involvement in Appraisal Scheme

*
Supervision of assistant / junior staff

Supervision of Students
*
Knowledge and experience in research and audit
*
Knowledge and understanding of National Service Framework for Older People
*
Knowledge and understanding of NICE and CSP/COT Guidelines relevant to neurology
