The Opportunity:
Are you ready to step up and lead a substantial project? We’re looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to take charge of a prestigious £20M build in South Manchester. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience managing smaller projects or someone eager to lead their first large-scale project. Join one of the UK’s top 20 construction contractors, where your input will be key to the successful delivery of a project for a blue chip client.
 
Responsibilities:

As the lead Quantity Surveyor on this high-profile project, you’ll be responsible for the financial and contractual aspects of the build from inception through to completion. Key tasks include:

Overseeing cost management, budgeting, and cash flow to ensure financial targets are met.
Managing and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
Leading monthly progress reviews and project reporting, working closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders.
Identifying, managing, and mitigating risk to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
