Science Teacher – Herne Bay

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly qualified Science Secondary School Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students aged 11-18, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of scientific principles across various disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Developing engaging and interactive lesson plans to inspire curiosity and foster critical thinking
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success
Collaborating with the science department to create a stimulating learning environment
Supporting students of varying abilities and helping them achieve their full potential
Qualification and Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a relevant degree in Education or subject area.
Proven experience teaching KS3 students, with a track record of achieving excellent academic outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Enhanced DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. (Or willing to obtain one)
