Contract: Immediate Start, 4-Month Duration (with a view to extend to 6)

Day Rate: Competitive

A dynamic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an Interim Governance Manager to ensure outstanding standards of governance and compliance across their schools during a crucial period of growth and change.

This role will be remote based with on site requirement 1-2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert governance and compliance advice to the Trust and its academies.
Support school leaders and Trustees in fulfilling statutory obligations and upholding best practices in governance.
Ensure effective systems and processes are in place for governance reporting, risk management, and accountability.
Deliver high-quality training and guidance to governance teams and local governing bodies.
Work collaboratively with school and Trust leaders to promote an ethos of transparency and compliance.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in governance, ideally within education or public sector settings.
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and statutory requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
