Maintenance Operative

Location: Thames Ditton, Surrey

Salary: £30,000+ per annum

Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for maintenance and problem-solving? Join our dynamic team and play a key role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming!

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Building & Equipment Maintenance – Oversee the upkeep of machinery, lighting, plumbing, drainage, heating, air conditioning, and general club facilities.

* Pool & Water Hygiene – Conduct regular water testing, backwashes, and maintenance of pool plant operations.

* Repairs & Refurbishments – Assist with redecoration, refurbishments, and general DIY tasks across the site.

* Security & Compliance – Ensure safety measures, alarms, fire extinguishers, and emergency procedures are adhered to.

* Record-Keeping & Stock Management – Maintain logs, update maintenance systems, and assist with deliveries.

* Flexible Working – Ability to work weekends and various shifts as required.

What We’re Looking For:

* Technical Skills – General maintenance knowledge, including plumbing, electrical work, and repairs.

* Pool Plant Experience – Understanding of water hygiene and pool operations (Pool Plant Operators Qualification preferred but not essential).

* Problem-Solving Mindset – Ability to assess issues and find efficient solutions.

* Customer-Focused Approach – Friendly, approachable, and always ready to assist members and staff.
