JT Recruit is partnering with a Local Authority to find skilled and qualified joiners to join their repairs team. You’ll help maintain social housing and other properties across Derby City, carrying out essential first and second-fix joinery work.

Key Duties:

* First-fix joinery, including stud partitioning, floor joists, and door frames.

* Second-fix joinery, such as hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, architraves, and kitchens.

* Installing and repairing windows, staircases, and other wooden fixtures.

* Carrying out general repairs and maintenance in domestic and some commercial properties.

* Providing excellent customer service and handling queries professionally.

Requirements:

* Experience in both first and second-fix joinery.

* NVQ or equivalent qualification in joinery/carpentry.

* A full UK driving licence (you’ll travel across Derbyshire).

* A checkable work history for the past two years.
