Trainee Earthing Engineer
Hourly rate - £12
Location - Based out of Nottingham with UK wide travel (vehicle provided)
Overnight stays paid at £40/night expenses + accomodation booked for you in advance
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the largest Utility companies across the UK as part of the National Grid Technology Framework. You will be fully trained from scratch - all we ask is for you enthusiasm and hard work.
What you will be trained to do as an Trainee Earthing Engineer
* Installation and testing of Earthing systems to LV/HV/GIS sub stations, power generating stations, CNI, waste to power plants, wind farms, Solar parks, telecommunications, Data Centres, water industry and MOD infrastructures.
* Liaising with the client on site and dealing with design issues with the architects and project managers etc.
* To ensure that works that fall within our scope are carried out in a safe, diligent, professional and timely manner
* Generators/Current Transformers/Voltage Transformers/Super Gird Transformers/Shunt Reactors.
* Completion of Asset Tagging and Registration of Information.
