As a Charge Nurse you will have a genuine chance to shape the future of a state-of-the-art hospital. You’ll be providing leadership and guidance to the MDT, along with being responsible for ensuring the nursing team deliver top-rate mental health care.

To give you an idea of how this Charge Nurse role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
Deliver high quality, service user focussed care for patients
Work alongside a team of professionals including Ward Managers, Doctors, Support Workers, Therapists and Activity Coordinators
Provide leadership and guidance to fellow members of the MDT
Engage in continuous quality improvement within the serviceTo apply for this Charge Nurse role, you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin. You’ll also have prior experience in a leadership position as a Mental Health Nurse.
