Tooling Design Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled individual to join our clients team and take on the challenge of designing cutting-edge tooling for composite manufacturing processes. If you have experience in tooling design, a strong understanding of composite materials, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Design and develop advanced tooling for composite manufacturing.

* Collaborate with commercial and production teams to ensure tooling meets design specifications and production requirements.

* Create detailed tooling designs and drawings using CAD software.

* Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues during production.

* Continuously refine and improve tooling designs to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

* Work to ISO 9001 standards to ensure quality and consistency.

* Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering growth within the team.

What You Need:

* Proven experience in tooling design, preferably within the composites industry.

* Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA would be a distinct advantage)

* Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.

* Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment.

* Strong communication and project management skills.
