TOOLMAKER - INJECTION MOULDING

TORQUAY, DEVON

£38,000- £42,000 + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to continued success in the region and a growing demand, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with an experienced Toolmaker. The client are an established Injection Moulding company and have a solid client base, spanning several industries.

We are looking for an experienced individual, who is passionate about engineering and Toolmaking in particular, which is a sought after skillset in this day and age! If you're a passionate Toolmaker wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in an established company, this could be the role for you.

THE ROLE:

Manufacturing of tooling parts using a full range of Tool room equipment from detailed customer drawings or 3D Models.
Interpret technical drawings and 3D models.
Deliver estimated timelines, plan, execute and complete all activities related to injection mould tools assembly equipment and fixtures to customers' expectations
Support the manufacture and validation of new tooling and ensure the appropriate standard and quality of work delivered.
Spot potential issues with manufacture and provide preventative solutions.
Monitoring the condition of the tool room equipment to appropriate standards.
THE PERSON:

An excellent knowledge of injection moulding principles is essential.

Time served apprenticeship.

3 years experience as a Toolmaker - Minimum required.
