We are seeking a full or part time SEN TA to join an outstanding Primary school in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. A school that embraces all and aims to ensure every child becomes a full, responsible and positive participant in the community.

About the role:

* Providing support to children with special educational needs

* Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons

* Helping to create a positive, supportive and engaging learning environment

* Working one-on-one with students who may require additional support

* Supporting student progress to ensure each child reaches their full potential

* Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with special educational needs

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive school community

* Ability to adapt to individual students and their requirements

* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
