Head of Operations
Our client is an established leader in their field, delivering a specialist engineering, repair and overhaul based services to their clients, across the UK.
Due to a change in market conditions, they’re enjoying a significant period of growth, particularly within their field-based operation. In support of this, they seek to appoint a Head of Operations whose role will be to shape and develop the existing operation and to expand it. You will have a proven background in leading a field-based operation, supporting its growth, rising to the challenges, implementing solutions and having successfully implemented management structure within the team, as it grew. You will have a clear vision for best practice.
Our client delivers high value, Engineering based services, on customers own sites, meaning a high degree of communication is required between all stakeholders as well as strong organisational and leadership skills in the role and across Operations. The business is a SME and you should use to undertaking broad range of responsibilities (commercial and management based), able to multi task and to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
You will be focussed upon building a motivated and cohesive operation, able to make effective change and to secure the buy in of the workforce. You will challenge the status que, bringing your team on the journey and driving cultural improvement. The role will be wide ranging, reviewing and improving processes, better systems & embracing new technology and building strong leadership structures within your team.
