Technical Support Engineer – Access Control & Door Entry Systems

Up to £35,000 + £4,000 Annual Bonus
Are you an experienced Technical Support Engineer with a strong background in electronic security? This is an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturer specialising in access control and door entry systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, ensuring swift resolution of any issues related to access control and door entry systems.
- Assist the sales team by conducting site surveys, reviewing technical specifications, and helping to prepare quotes and drawings.
- Advise customers and installation teams on 1st and 2nd fixing solutions, ensuring successful system installation and integration.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrating excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar technical support role within the electronic security sector, preferably with access control or door entry systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of security systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, including remote and on-site support.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
