About the role of M&E Quantity Surveyor
In this role you will be working with a leading MEP Subcontractor, working on large residential projects in London.
Responsibilities for M&E Quantity Surveyor
Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.
Requirements for M&E Quantity Surveyor
Experience with commercially managing high value M&E projects.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel skills being a must.
Knowledge of tender processes and have experience in handling contracts and legal issues.
Experience of M&E Quantity Surveying and financial knowledge of construction costs.
An understanding of contracts and the tender process as well as being able to read drawings and understand contracts.
