Hydraulic Specialist Engineer – Up to £50,000 + 4 day working week!

Situation:

We are recruiting for global company specialising in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-performance polymer-based components and systems. They are known for their expertise in rubber, elastomeric, and polymer solutions tailored to industries like rail, defence, automotive, and industrial engineering.

The Group has been expanding its business and pipeline with a strong focus on growth and innovation. Their growth strategy includes significant acquisitions, which has enhanced their global presence and broadened their product offerings, especially in the rail and industrial sectors. From this business growth, the site in Little Hampton is searching for 2 x maintenance engineers, one specialising in Hydraulics & the other in Electrical as it aims to become the Centre of Excellence for the business.

Opportunity:

The Hydraulics Specialist Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of hydraulic systems. Key duties include preventive & reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic equipment, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role involves maintaining documentation, collaborating with the team and staying updated on hydraulic technologies. As the machinery used is bespoke (built in house) the specialist will be working on components and machines that you wouldn’t find in any other businesses.

Essential Criteria To Secure An Interview:

Experienced working in Hydraulics (Pumps, Motors & Pipes)
Proficient in Microsoft office & writing reports.
Showcase the ability to learn & develop.
Background in a site machinery/engineering environment.
Working Model:

Monday – Thursday  - 6:00-16:30

Salary & Package:

Up to £50,000 + benefits
