Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students, ensuring the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters a love for learning and supports students' social and emotional development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted support when needed.
Work closely with parents and caregivers to communicate students' progress and encourage their involvement in their child's education.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest educational trends and innovations.
Uphold high standards of behaviour and expectations for all students.
Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 1.
A strong passion for primary education and a deep understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and parents.
Commitment to the academic and personal growth of each student.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
A valid DBS certificate is required.
