Job Title: Transport Supervisor
Location: North East Wales
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Transport Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department. The role supports the Transport Manager, ensures regulatory compliance, manages drivers and yard functions, and drives continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise collection and delivery schedules.
* Monitor and update transport plans daily.
* Ensure adherence to driving hours, rules, and speed limits.
* Maintain vehicles and promptly address any defects.
* Communicate with customers and service providers.
* Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements.
* Manage driver and yard staff schedules and KPI data.
* Optimise transport efficiency and routing.
* Conduct performance reviews and training.
* Lead health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum two years in transportation/logistics.
* Valid driving licence.
* Knowledge of transport laws and regulations.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills.
* Good geographical knowledge and financial awareness.
* HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, Digi Card
