Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Warrington (North West Region)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor, your primary duties will include:

* Obtaining and evaluating information to ensure realistic cost estimates for works, goods, materials, and services across multiple projects/contracts.

* Managing the commercial relationship with clients.

* Producing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion, ensuring alignment with budgets, and reporting any changes that may impact costs or timelines.

* Reviewing contract conditions prior to project commencement, identifying risks, and communicating key terms to the project delivery team.

* Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Welfare, and Legal requirements, maintaining quality standards.

* Managing client/customer care requirements to ensure satisfaction.

* Advising, formulating, and submitting claims for loss and expense.

* Conducting commercial evaluations of completed projects.

Person Specification:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

* Experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

* A detailed understanding of contracts.

* Strong commercial awareness.

* Excellent interpersonal skills.

* Strong analytical, financial, and numeracy skills.

* Negotiation skills.

* A proactive team player who can also work independently.

* The ability to work to tight deadlines.
