Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-on-one support for students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
Assist teachers with classroom activities and help implement targeted interventions to support students’ learning.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to boost their confidence and engagement in lessons.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive support and track student progress.
Encourage social interactions and help students participate actively in group activities, fostering inclusion and self-esteem.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
Has a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and helping them succeed.
Ideally has experience working with children in an educational setting, though unqualified candidates with a strong interest in SEN support are encouraged to apply.
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Is patient, empathetic, and nurturing, particularly when working with students who face additional challenges.
Can adapt to diverse learning needs and provide personalized, effective support.
