Design and Prototype Next-Generation Missile Systems as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will work on projects that are in the first stages of development so you will have the opportunity to shape their direction and rapidly prototype designs.
 
About the Role:

Work within a multidisciplinary team that engages across many areas of missile design through a mixture of research and mainstream project work.
Lead the mechanical development for assigned projects, sub-systems or components.
Propose ideas for future research topics and obtain funding to develop these ideas. 
About You:

An in-depth understanding of mechanical design, including an appreciation of packaging electronics including thermal considerations.
Capable of developing concept design solutions with limited information and changing requirements.
An ability to work with, influence and negotiate with collaborators across the business.
Relevant 3D CAD/CAE experience (training on our preferred CAE tools will be given).
Wider awareness of other fields such as Structural Design and Low Observability would be beneficial.

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 Plus Bonus and Benefits 
Location: Bristol – 80% On-Site Working with World-Class Equipment
Eligibility: Must Hold British Citizenship Due to Security Clearance Requirements
