We are now seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our dynamic team and make a positive difference in our students' lives.

Job Role:
As an English Teacher in our SEN school, you will play a vital role in helping students with unique learning needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other specific learning challenges. Your responsibility will be to design and deliver tailored English lessons that cater to individual abilities, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that are accessible and engaging for SEN students.
Develop individualized learning strategies to support a range of abilities, ensuring all students feel included and valued.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student, using a variety of resources and approaches to encourage participation.
Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and other educational professionals to create an integrated support system for each student.
Monitor, assess, and report on students' progress, ensuring open communication with parents, carers, and relevant stakeholders.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies, maintaining a safe environment for all students.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching English, preferably in an SEN or inclusive educational setting.
Understanding of SEN practices and experience with various strategies to support students with special educational needs.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of SEN children.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the wider school team.
