We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager professional to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our clients construction and civils projects.

What You’ll Do:

* Tender Preparation: Prepare and price tender estimates for a variety of projects, ranging from small-scale to large developments.

* Cost Management: Update and manage project costing systems for presentation and approval.

* Client Negotiation: Liaise with clients to agree on variations and ensure mutual satisfaction.

* Site Measurement: Visit construction sites to assess new tenders and measure quantities for ongoing work.

* Documentation Review: Analyse project and tender documents, identify omissions, and communicate requirements to the team.

* Payment Applications: Prepare and manage monthly payment applications, resolving any discrepancies efficiently.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth financial and operational delivery.

* Stakeholder Communication: Regularly liaise with client Quantity Surveyors and construction personnel on financial and contractual matters.

What We’re Looking For:

* Strong knowledge and experience with NEC and JCT Contracts.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

* Experience in both tendering and financial management of construction projects.
