Hours: 42 Hours (shift pattern 6am-3pm Mon - Fri / 3pm - 12 midnight - Mon to Thurs and Saturday day shift 7.00am - 4.00pm)

Job Description:

Our client, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with electrical qualifications to join their engineering team. The role involves overseeing all maintenance activities on a rotating shift pattern, improving machine up-time through reactive and preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company standards and health & safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair of machinery, plant, and equipment

Liaise with managers and shift staff to provide maintenance support

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults

Record detailed repair information and ensure timely ordering of parts

Complete shift reports and provide handover information

Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required:

Electrically qualified with time served plus 2 years within FMCG ideally food production.

Mechanical & welding experience desirable

Experience in control of tools, stores and equipment
