JOB TITLE : ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

LOCATION: NEWQUAY, TR7

SALARY: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:

Setsquare is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Cornwall on a permanent basis. This is a full time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

Required to work as part of a team either leading or assisting in the performance of maintenance activities, installation and repair
Experience to confidently diagnose faults, identifying spares and carry out the work efficiently
Self-motivated and takes ownership of the work.
Due to the complex nature of the site the team work to a strict maintenance instruction whereby a step by step method statement must be followed, failing to do this can cause a serious impact to plant and the safety of others so the post holder must be attentive and compliant at all timeQualifications and Experience:

Minimum -City & Guilds / NVQ or HNC / HND Electrical Engineering -18th edition
Preferably degree educated in an Electrical Engineering/Technical discipline - chartered or equivalent
Proven knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
Budget monitoring, commercial awareness and experience at managing contractors
Previous work experience in the nuclear sector / industrial environment advantageous, specifically high voltage plant / equipment
Proven ability in the preparation of reports and information using packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Suitable relevant technical experience including the preparation of technical documentation, the review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities
Experience of supervising and setting contractors/sub -contractors to work in their roles and experience in leading a project teamApply now to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.
