Our client is looking for someone to join their team as a Senior Production Administrator. They are a market leader in their industry and looking for someone with proven experience in the fashion industry to join their busy environment, assisting with their global reputation and 160 years’ service to the industry.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
Proven experience of 3 years or more in similar roles
Experience in the fashion sector
Background in manufacturing, production, and procurement
Comfortable in dynamic, high-pressure settings with a proactive mindset
Skilled in workflow planning, scheduling, prioritization, and meeting tight deadlines
Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, and quick adaptability to internal systems
Highly organized; capable of planning, scheduling, and coordinating with stakeholders
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with import and export logistics processes
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Managing collection costings and updating changes through the system within set timeframes
Analysing sales data to determine manufacturing needs, checking availability, and scheduling production
Maintaining communication with suppliers for fabric/trims availability and keeping manufacturers updated on developments
Booking external processing space when needed and ensuring accurate system updates for production orders and costings
Collaborating with the Technical Department on sample accuracy, ensuring all style and colour variations are correctly recorded in the system
Generating work orders for ongoing and future production using the computerized system, ensuring accuracy for mid-season and call-off stock orders
Monitoring work in progress through the system, tracking deliveries, and addressing any shortfalls as needed
Assisting the Production Manager with internal reporting, pricing, delivery schedules, and other business-related reports
Maintaining close contact with factories throughout production, ensuring quality inspections and audits are performed consistently
Overseeing efficient production, ensuring the correct quantity is produced at the right cost and quality level
Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager relevant to the role
Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Working hours are Monday – Friday, full time hours
