About the company:
My client is a Tier 2 Main Contractor who specialises across several different disciplines such as earthworks and highways projects. They have been trading since the late 70’s and have generated a reputation that has made them one of the preferred contractors within the earthworks and civils industry. They currently operate at a turnover of £80M per annum which is expected to grow over the coming years. Their projects range in value from £5M to £65M and are mostly located around Bristol and the South West.
About the role:
Due to a huge pipeline of work, my client is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a large portfolio of Earthworks projects. This role is an all-rounded Senior Project Manager position. You will be working on projects from the tender stage through to handover to the client. You will be overseeing a team of project managers and will be using your excellent leadership skills to guide and lead this team to successfully complete the portfolio of projects all over the South of the UK. This will involve working closely with the in-house design team and managing them, working in the pre-construction team and working on tenders, overseeing site teams, implementing quality and health & Safety on-site, and dealing directly with the clients.

About the requirements:
It’s important that you have experience working for a UK-based Earthworks & Civil Engineering company. I am also looking for someone who has a technical mindset, someone who has experience taking projects from the pre-construction stage through to completion, as a Senior Project Manager in the UK.
