International Asset Services Assistant
Salary: £27,000 p.a.
Hybrid: 3 days in the office (nearest station Old Street, Northern Line), 2 days work from home.
Our client was established over 25 years ago as a leading support within law worldwide, although they are not a law firm. The role is to provide support to their International Asset Services division, that works with professional clients across the UK, helping value and sell shares worldwide, close overseas bank accounts and investment accounts, and obtain probate overseas. This is a complex, interesting and varied area of the business.
We are looking for a good support administrator to communicate with a wide variety of legal and financial professionals worldwide, providing administrative support and communicating at all levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a high level of drive and enthusiasm, who is willing to learn and wants to hone their skill set in an unusual field and you will learn about many interesting aspects of business, finance and law along the way.
Key accountabilities:
* Provide effective and efficient administrative support to the International Asset Services Manager, including:
* Assisting with the International Asset Services Manager’s correspondence with overseas agents and institutions.
* Managing all aspects of Medallion Guarantee stamp applications.
* Developing an understanding of the services offered by the department.
* Providing telephone and email support for clients’ enquiries, build trusted advisor relationships with brokers and foreign lawyers.
* Supporting the department by carrying out regular reviews of enquiries and ongoing cases.
* Preparation of quotations for clients.
* General administration, including letter writing, scanning, copying and filing.
* Making occasional travel arrangements for the International Asset Services Manager.
* Research online as required.
* Occasional general administrative and post duties within the company as needed.
