Clinical Lead Nurse – Care Home

Woodbridge, Suffolk

£25 per hour

I am looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to work in a home offering top-class nursing, residential and dementia care in the peaceful and picturesque setting of the Suffolk countryside. The home is within easy reach of neighbouring towns such as Ipswich, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh and Framlingham.

In this Clinical Lead Role you will:

* Be responsible for ensuring outstanding clinical care is provided to residents

* Strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team.

* Prior management experience, or experience of leading a small team

* Ability to make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.

* A passion for promoting best nursing practice and able to train, support and mentor others.

* A desire to encourage positive working relationships within the team.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* A good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC and compliance.

For this great post you will need:

* Active UK NMC nursing pin (RGN or RMN)

* Previous Clinical Lead experience

* Good working knowledge of CQC standards

* The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams

* Diplomacy and objectivity when dealing with patients and staff

* Effective time management skills

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Strong IT skills and knowledge of resident data management systems

* A commitment to delivering resident-focused care
